On June 17, 2026, the Montana Statewide Continuum of Care Governing Board approved the reallocation of $316,630 in Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) funds. These funds are restricted and must fund new YHDP projects through a process called “replacement.”
The Montana Statewide Continuum of Care (MT-CoC) is soliciting applications for new and expansion YHDP projects that will provide Supportive Services to homeless youth ages 24 and younger, including unaccompanied and pregnant or parenting youth in Montana. The MT-CoC invites qualified nonprofit organizations, States, local governments, instrumentalities of State and local governments, Public Housing Authorities, Native American Tribes, and Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHE) to submit applications.
Current YHDP Renewal project applicants may apply to expand their current project through the YHDP Replacement process. See section II.B.3.i 2026 NOFO for more information.
