As we continue to wait for HUD to open e-snaps and make the 2026 Project Applications available, we have received a significant amount of feedback expressing concern and frustration as the deadline of July 22, 2026, approaches; we share that frustration.
We have decided to not only once again extend the deadlines, but also change the process for the submission of New Project Applications so that the Selection Committee has ample time to review the application received. With that, we are making the following changes – please review them carefully, and as always do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
for renewal projects:
Deadline for submission Project Applications into e-snaps is 5pm (MDT), Monday, August 10, 2026.
For New Transition Project Applications (current grantees transitioning from RRH to TH or SSO):
Deadline for submission Project Applications into e-snaps is 5pm (MDT), Monday, August 10, 2026.
For New Project Applications for CoC Bonus or DV Bonus:
Applicants submitting project applications for New Projects under the CoC or DV Bonus must complete the Local Project Application (see below). Local Project applications are due to submit@mtcoc.org by 5pm (MDT) on Tuesday, July 28th – Applications received after this date will not be considered.
New Project Applications will be reviewed and scored, and the Selection Committee will finalize Project Selection and Ranking on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, with applicants being notified of their status by 5pm (MDT) on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Only those New Projects selected for inclusion in the Montana Statewide Continuum of Care 2026 Project Priority Listing will need to submit a Project Application in e-snaps – these will be due into e-snaps by 5pm (MDT) on Monday, August 10, 2026.
